Load Yukon Husky with wood

Load Yukon Husky with wood

Postby apphouse » Sun Jan 10, 2010 1:16 pm

The Yukon Husky has 2 rows of firebricks on the outside and back walls of the wood box. But on the inside wall of the firebox there is only a single row of firebrick. The manual says not to load above the firebricks. Does this mean you can only load to the top of the single row of firebricks on the inside wall? If this is the case, then why have the double row of firebricks on the other two sides?

Thanks,
Jeff

So just to be clear: Loading the wood up to the top of the second row of bricks means the wood will be above the single row of bricks on the inside wall of the fire box. And this is okay, right?

You should not need that much wood in your husky....after some thinking the manual call for not loading above the air tube which splits the 2 rows of bricks.
So you were right to begin with.
I was still waking up from 3 hard days on the ice this morning  when I answered you 1st thing this a.m.
