Can you elaborate on what the new "Round Jack" will be like? Is it an indoor wood boiler? In your other post under the topic "What to know about wood burners" you mention that:
"The water in a wood boiler, being only 180 degrees or cooler, is subjected to the same creosote problem as an outdoor boiler. In addition, if the wood fire is more than 212 degrees, which causes steam, heats the water, a safety valve will blow the steam off into your basement drain. This tends to be a frequent unexcitable problem with indoor wood boilers."
How will the new "Round Jack" address those issues? It would be great to have the option of a wood boiler for my house as we have an existing hot water heat system that works well and no way to install duct work short of major structural remodeling. I'm very interested in this new project of yours. Thanks for considering bringing back the old Round Jack.
