Nicki...a Big Jack will not work well with pellets...it has no hopper.
The BJ90 is a wood log burner...that is does a fine job at..both Bill & I own one.

Do you have make up air from outside....what is the flue set up in the home like...is the wood dry...is the draft set with a manometer to .03" w.c.????
