I used to have a gas furnace and with the wood burning furnace, it was great to see my gas bill drop down to nothing. Now I just need to get a solar water heater to heat the water and not have to use a gas water heater and I'll be set. Is there any way to use the furnace to heat water rather than us...

Is the concern over humidifiers and the ac coils because of the heat that the furnace could create? I'm guessing there's nothing to worry about when installing a humidifier or the ac coils onto a Yukon? I have a Aprilaire humidifier that I have from a previous home. Don't the pellet furnaces have some type of filter or exhaust for the smoke? Or is the black film on things only a result of a wood pellet stove and not a furnace? I usually try to avoid burning wet or damp logs. I try to keep my wood pile covered and out of the elements. As far as creosote build up, what is a good way to remove it? I've seen those creosote logs, do they work?
