I hate to say it but 6 month old wood is no where near dry enough. You'd be better off to buy a few cord to get you through the winter. Then that wood will be great for burning next winter. I took your advice Keith and bought a load of wood for this winter. My "6 month old pile" is now 10...

I'm not doing as well as you guys. I have 2 cords cut and split and dried(half black locust half mixed ash oak and cherry). I have 2 cords of rounds dried for 6mos lastly.....6 large dead trees ready to haul out and process. I've got to get a move on....... :roll: p.s. my super jack goes in shortly....
